BRG Claims Responsibility for Power Tower Sabotage in Sibi

SIBI, BALOCHISTAN: The Baloch Republican Guards (BRG) have claimed responsibility for destroying two electricity transmission towers in the Bakhtiarabad area of Sibi district on the night of May 14, 2026.

According to a statement issued by BRG spokesperson Dostain Baloch, the group’s fighters planted explosives on two power transmission towers carrying electricity from the Uch Power Plant to Quetta, causing significant damage.

“Such attacks will continue until the liberation of Balochistan,” the statement read.

No casualties have been reported. Pakistani authorities have not yet issued an official response.
