
BALOCHISTAN: Three separate incidents Vegetable Vendor Shot Dead in Kharan, Shopkeeper Forcibly Disappeared in Quetta, Factory Manager Killed in Hub
In the Kharan district, a vegetable vendor was shot and killed after he resisted a robbery attempt on the old Gazi Road. Police and local sources confirmed that unidentified armed men attempted to rob Muhammad Iqbal Sasoli and when he resisted, the attackers opened fire, killing him on the spot. The assailants managed to flee before police arrived. Officers collected evidence and launched a further investigation into the incident.

In Quetta, 20-year-old Saeed Baloch, son of Lal Muhammad, was taken into custody by security forces at approximately 5 a.m. on May 6, 2026, from his home in Faizabad, Killi Habib, Saryab Road. Family members stated that armed personnel, believed to be from the Frontier Corps (FC), raided the house and took him away. He has not been produced before any court and his family has received no information about his whereabouts since his detention.

In Hub, the manager of Sarai Noor Factory was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen near the company gate, sources said. Enraged employees subsequently placed the body on the road and blocked the main highway, causing severe traffic disruption. Police arrived at the scene and began an investigation.
