JEEWANI: Pakistani security forces raided a residential house in Panwan Jal Bazaar, Jeewani, late last night and forcibly disappeared a young man Yahya Baloch.
According to family members, armed forces stormed the home of Mulla Amir Bakhsh Baloch and took his younger son, Yahya, into custody. No information about his whereabouts has been provided to the family since his detention, nor has he been produced before any court.
It is worth noting that more than a dozen young Baloch men have been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from Jeewani, Panwan and some of the victims found dead in surrounding areas within the past one month alone, raising serious concerns over the scale of enforced disappearances in Balochistan.
