
BALOCHISTAN — Three separate security incidents were reported across Balochistan on Tuesday, including the killing of a Prominent local elder in Turbat, an armed robbery at a Commercial bank and an unverified attack on a Police station in Nushki.
Prominent Elder Shot Dead in Turbat’s Dasht Area
A well-known local elder was shot and killed by armed individuals in the Dasht area of Turbat on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Rasheed, son of Suleman, a resident of Harani Bent. According to sources, armed individuals opened fire on Abdul Rasheed, killing him on the spot.
No group has claimed responsibility for the killing and no official statement has been issued by police regarding the motive behind the attack. Investigations are underway.
Armed Men Rob Muslim Commercial Bank in Turbat
In a separate incident, armed individuals carried out a Robbery at the Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) main branch in Turbat, looting the bank at gunpoint.
The attackers fled the scene following the robbery. No casualties have been reported so far. The extent of the financial loss has not been officially disclosed and police are investigating the incident.
Unverified Reports of Attack on Gori Police Station in Nushki
Unverified reports have emerged of an attack on the Gori Police Station located in the Kishhangi area of Nushki district by unidentified armed individuals.
The nature of the attack and any resulting casualties or damage have not been officially confirmed by authorities so far. Security forces are believed to have been deployed to the area.
