GANDAWAH: Mir Saeed Lashari, a resident of Gandawah city, has reported that on April 21 at approximately 2:00 AM, his son Fahd Hussain Baloch was forcibly disappeared by law enforcement agencies.
According to Mir Saeed, officials from the Frontier Corps, Intelligence Unit (FCIU) 151 Wing Gandawah, accompanied by two civilian vehicles one black Surf and another Toyota and personnel from the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), took Fahd Hussain without providing any reason or legal documentation. They threatened to our family at gunpoint before taking him away.
Mir Saeed expressed the immense pain and anguish his family is enduring, emphasizing that many mothers and sisters across Balochistan are suffering similar torment.
After the incident, Mir Saeed went to the police station to file an FIR, but the police refused to register it, instructing him to return after 24 hours without giving any explanation. He lamented that justice seems to be slipping further away.
Mir Saeed stated that his plea is not only for his son but for all those who have been forcibly disappeared in the same manner. He urgently appealed for the safe return of Fahd Hussain and called on the public to raise their voices against this oppression.
He warned that this is the first such incident in Jhal Magsi’s Gandawah area, where several members of the Lashari community have already been forcibly disappeared. If this trend is not stopped, many more Baloch individuals may face similar fates.
