QUETTA: The Baloch Women Forum (BWF) has raised serious concerns over the enforced disappearance of Zubair Baloch, an MPhil graduate of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur and former chairman of the Baloch Students Council Bahawalpur.

According to the forum, Zubair Baloch was reportedly taken by security forces on April 15, 2026, from his hometown in Bhutta Colony, Dera Ghazi Khan. Since then, his whereabouts remain unknown, leaving his family in a state of distress and uncertainty.

In a statement, the organization condemned the incident, describing enforced disappearances as a serious violation of fundamental human rights and a breach of legal and moral standards. The group emphasized that such actions impact not only individuals but also their families.

The forum has called on the authorities to disclose Zubair Baloch’s whereabouts and ensure his immediate and safe release. It also urged relevant institutions to address the issue of enforced disappearances and uphold accountability within the legal framework.
