QUETTA: The protest camp established by the Voice of Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) in front of the Quetta Press Club has now entered its 6135th day, yet government apathy remains unchanged.
Today, individuals from various walks of life visited the camp to raise their voices against enforced disappearances and to express solidarity with families who have been searching for their missing loved ones for years.
During the visit, Niaz Muhammad, a member of VBMP’s Executive Committee, stated that enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings are grave crimes against both the constitution and humanity. He questioned how long mothers, sisters and children would continue to wander in search of justice.
He further demanded from the government the immediate recovery of all missing persons and for those accused to be brought before the courts.
