BLA Claims 86 Security Personnel Killed in Coordinated Attacks in Balochistan

QUETTA: In a statement released to the media, Jeeyand Baloch, spokesperson for the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), announced that BLA fighters launched coordinated attacks against the occupying Pakistani forces throughout occupied Balochistan from March 29 to April 1, 2026. The operations targeted multiple locations including Panjgur, Shapuk, Basima, Sibi, Naseerabad, Dera Bugti, Mastung, Quetta, Nushki, Zamran, Dasht, Surab, Jhal Magsi, Dalbandin, Kharan, Washuk and Kalat. These 65 operations resulted in the deaths of more than 86 personnel from the occupying army, death squads and intelligence agencies, with dozens more wounded. The attacks targeted army camps, airbases, radar systems, communication towers, railway tracks and bridges, and gas pipelines. Key highways were also controlled for hours during the assaults.

During clashes with the occupying forces, five BLA fighters Sangat Zahid, Sangat Saeedullah, Sangat Jahanzeb, Sangat Amir and Sangat Saddam were martyred in Panjgur and Zamran.

Details of Operations:

March 29: On Sunday night at midnight, BLA fighters attacked the death squad hideouts established by the occupying Pakistani army in Panjgur, engaging in clashes at five locations. In the Garmkan area, fighters attacked the hideout of death squad operative Shahid, gaining control after clashes. Two death squad operatives were killed Shahid escaped with others. Fighters destroyed Shahid’s hideout with IEDs and set two of his vehicles on fire.

Another unit attacked the hideout of death squad leader Kaleemullah in Garmkan. Fighters controlled the hideout within 15 minutes, though the enemy escaped. Surveillance cameras and three vehicles were destroyed. The occupying forces attempted to advance on foot and vehicles but were repelled by BLA fighters, resulting in four army personnel killed and multiple injured. BLA fighter Sangat Zahid (Nawaz) was martyred.

A prolonged clash between occupying forces and BLA fighters occurred between Garmkan and Vashbod, where the enemy attempted to encircle the area. At least six occupying soldiers were killed and several wounded, BLA fighters Sangat Saeedullah (Meraj) and Sangat Jahanzeb (Qambar Jan) were martyred. At Khudabad, fighters attacked and took control of the death squad hideout of Farhan, killing four operatives and seizing eight weapons before destroying the hideout with an IED. BLA fighter Sangat Amir (Khalid) was martyred. Several intense clashes followed, resulting in four enemy soldiers killed and several wounded. BLA fighter Sangat Shavez was injured and later died, becoming a martyr.

Fighters took control of Football Chowk and initiated snap checking. A death squad vehicle was attacked, killing four operatives on the spot. The occupying forces tried to advance but were repelled by BLA fighters equipped with thermal and advanced weapons, sustaining heavy casualties. During these operations, BLA fighters shot down four enemy quadcopters and seized multiple firearms including M4 rifles, Kalashnikovs, an LMG, RPG, and thermal scope.

March 29: In Shapuk, Kech, fighters attacked the main camp of the occupying army with heavy and automatic weapons. The half-hour assault killed three enemy soldiers and caused further casualties. In Basima, Washuk, fighters attacked an army post at Routinko, killing two soldiers during a 45-minute operation.

At Mil Sirani near Sibi, three main transmission line towers were destroyed with explosives. Two towers near Dera Murad Jamali in Naseerabad were also destroyed. Fighters attacked an army convoy near Limji, Sibi, inflicting casualties. Checkpoints were set up on highways in Dhadar and snap checking was conducted. Fighters controlled a highway section near Kat Mandai, Sibi, for over two hours.

In Kanak, Mastung, fighters took control of a levies check post, seizing weapons and burning vehicles. In Quetta’s Zarat Colony, fighters attacked the main army camp and Military Intelligence (MI) office, firing grenades that killed two soldiers and wounded five. In Akhtarabad, Quetta, a police vehicle was targeted with a grenade launcher. Railway tracks and bridges in Quetta, including Tera Mile and near the Irrigation Colony, were destroyed by IEDs at multiple points.

In Basima’s Latar, fighters attacked an army camp with thermal scopes and heavy weapons, killing two soldiers and causing further damage. In Nushki, railway tracks were destroyed at five locations with explosives. In Sui city, Dera Bugti, a gas pipeline was bombed.

In Zamran’s Sarkiza Op Tank, fighters attacked the main army camp using heavy and modern weapons for over an hour, BLA fighter Sangat Abduost Aziz (Alman) Martyred. The army’s attempts to advance via convoys were thwarted by fighters in two attacks, killing five soldiers in total. In Surab, ambushes on army convoys killed four soldiers, and a quadcopter was shot down by fighters.

March 30: In Jhal Magsi, fighters took control of Kotro police station, capturing one police officer. Clashes killed one policeman and injured two others including the SHO. The occupying forces used civilians as human shields, but fighters minimized civilian harm. The captured officer was released following elders’ requests. Army convoys of eight vehicles were attacked near Kotro, resulting in nine soldiers killed and over ten wounded. Enemy vehicles were destroyed, and drones, mortar shells and other war materials were seized.

In Dalbandin’s Siyah Chang, fighters took control of a levies post and detained personnel. Mining site machinery was burned, levies personnel were released after warnings. Fourteen weapons and a vehicle were seized. Mortar and rocket attacks on an army camp in Patkan, Kharan caused heavy casualties. Fighters launched multiple BM-12 rockets on Shamsi Airbase, successfully hitting targets. Gas pipelines on Quetta’s Western Bypass were destroyed with explosives.

March 31: A communication tower was destroyed in Sibi. Fighters took control of Dast and Kadan in Kech, seizing weapons from levies stations and NADRA offices. Seven enemy personnel were killed in attacks on army camps and armored vehicles. In Manguchar, Kalat, nine simultaneous attacks killed eight soldiers. BLA’s aerial and drone warfare unit “Qahr” launched five drone strikes on the main army camp at Manguchar College, killing three soldiers and wounding five.

Ambushes in Bencha, Surab killed two enemy soldiers. Four soldiers were killed in attacks on posts in Mastung’s Lakpas. Two soldiers were killed in radar system destruction at Kambila. Three soldiers were killed in an attack on the main camp at Maro. A sniper killed one soldier in Spilnji. Three soldiers were killed in attacks on two posts in Gargina, Mastung. The Quetta-Taftan highway was controlled for four hours. Grenades were launched at the MI office in Turbat. MI agent Ehtisham Gujar was killed in Hazarganji, Quetta.

April 1: In Zamran, Nawanow, a supply vehicle for the occupying forces was disabled, and motorcycle-mounted personnel were targeted with IEDs. An empty military post in Nushki was destroyed with explosives.

Martyrs : Sangat Zahid (Nawaz), from Gechk, Panjgur, joined the armed struggle in 2016 and the BLA in 2023. He was a fearless and experienced fighter who inflicted heavy losses on the enemy across multiple fronts. Sangat Saeedullah (Meraj), from Rage, Washuk, joined BLA in April 2025 and proved his valor on the fronts of Gwargo and Panjgur. Sangat Jahanzeb (Qambar), from Nokabad, Panjgur, joined BLA in January 2025 and was known for his ideological commitment and military dedication. Sangat Amir (Khalid), from Khudabad, Panjgur, joined BLA in 2022 as a civilian guerrilla and later provided valuable service on several fronts. Sangat Saddam (Shavez), from Kilag, Kech, joined BLA in 2025 and completed many successful missions with his military skills. Sangat Abduost Aziz (Alman), from Kohaad, Tamp, joined the armed struggle in 2018 and BLA in 2019. He was a member of BLA’s elite unit “Fatah Squad” and known for his frontline combat abilities.

Sangat Abduost was a living example of continuous struggle. Despite collective punishment on his family, including the martyrdom of his uncle Musaddiq by the occupying forces, he did not abandon the cause of freedom. His ideological upbringing was guided by his mother, Bibi Umra, who was herself a supporter of the freedom movement.

The spokesperson stated that the BLA offers individuals linked to death squads an opportunity to cease their anti-Baloch activities and surrender. Otherwise, the BLA will use full force to bring them to justice. The occupying forces attempted to use civilians as human shields during the coordinated attacks in Jhal Magsi. Therefore, the public is advised to maintain a safe distance from the army. This strategic campaign and coordinated operations will continue with full intensity until the restoration of a free and independent Balochistan.
