Zakir Taj Disappaered

Quetta, Balochistan: The protest camp of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) continued for the 6,119th consecutive day outside the Quetta Press Club, where families of missing persons continue to demand their recovery.

On February 26, the wife of a missing person, Zakir Taj, visited the protest camp from Bolan Medical Colony on Brewery Road, Quetta and recorded her protest, appealing to the authorities for the safe recovery of her husband.

She stated that Zakir Taj was taken into custody by security forces from Bolan Medical Colony in Quetta at around 11:45 PM on February 26. Since then, he has neither been produced before any court nor has any information about his whereabouts been shared with the family.

She urged higher authorities to ensure his immediate recovery and, if any allegations exist, to present him before a court of law so the family can end its prolonged distress.
