Karachi: 23-Year-Old Man Asim Disappeared After Detention, Family Appeals for Recovery

KARACHI: A 23-year-old man, identified as Asim, has reportedly disappeared after being taken into custody in Karachi on the night of March 16, 2026.

According to details, Asim, a trader by profession and a resident of Panwan Jiwani, was picked up by Rangers personnel at around midnight from the Shah Ali Sharafi Goth area of the city.

Sources state that no information has been provided about his whereabouts since his detention, leaving his family in a state of severe distress. The family has appealed to the authorities for his immediate recovery.

Human rights circles have also urged the concerned authorities to ensure Asim’s safe return and to address the growing concerns of his relatives.
