AWARAN: The body of Sher Jan Baloch, who had been forcibly disappeared in November 2025, has been identified, local sources reported. Sher Jan’s body was among four recovered in the Teertaj area.
According to Zrumbesh sources, Sher Jan, son of Zabad Baloch, was reportedly abducted by Pakistani forces from Hub Chowki on November 22, 2025. Two days later, his younger brother, Nadil Baloch, was also disappeared from Jahoo Bazar. Nadil Baloch’s body was recovered five days after his abduction.
Sher Jan’s body was identified today, March 8, 2026, along with three other recovered individuals. Of the four bodies, only two have been positively identified.
Another identified individual among the recovered bodies is Ganj Bakhsh Baloch, son of Ghulam Haider, who was reportedly disappeared by Pakistani forces on January 7, 2026. The identities of the remaining two bodies have not yet been confirmed.
