Quetta: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for two separate incidents an attack on a police station in Kachhi district and the killing of two individuals it described as “intelligence operatives” in Kalat. The claims were made in a statement issued to media by group’s spokesperson, Major Gwahram Baloch.
According to the statement, BLF Fighters surrounded the Haji Shehr police station in Kachhi around 2 PM on November 13, took on-duty personnel hostage, seized government weapons and equipments and later set the building on fire.
The spokesperson further claimed that BLF members had detained two individuals in Kalat on separate dates Sanaullah on November 7, and Samiullah Nechari, reportedly on September 26 accusing both men of working for Pakistan’s Military Intelligence.
The group said that the two detainees confessed during interrogation to involvement in activities against the Baloch insurgency. BLF also claimed that both men were killed on November 7 after what it described as “completion of investigations.”
The statement concluded by reiterating the group’s claim of responsibility for both incidents.
