Quetta: Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson for the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), said that fighters ambushed three motorcycle-riding personnel of the occupying Pakistani paramilitary Frontier Corps (FC) near Riko Rogan in Buleda area at around 8:00 a.m. on the morning of October 28. As a result of the attack, three personnel were killed on the spot and one was severely wounded.
The spokesperson said that after the attack the fighters seized and confiscated the weapons and military equipment of the killed personnel and that they successfully reached a safe location after completing the operation as planned.
He added that BLF fighters, using an organized guerrilla war strategy, are carrying out repeated attacks on enemy forces in both urban and mountainous areas, causing the forces to suffer psychological stress and anxiety; their morale has fallen. He charged that, to raise soldiers’ morale, the Pakistani forces hide their own killed personnel and forcibly abduct civilians and kill them in staged (“fake”) encounters.
The Balochistan Liberation Front accepted responsibility for the attack in Kech Buleda in which it says three occupying paramilitary personnel were killed and one wounded and their weapons seized, and reiterated its resolve that attacks on enemy forces will continue until an independent Balochistan is achieved.
