
Turbat: Young Student Subject to Enforced Disappearance from Absar Balochi Bazaar, Family Announces Protest
The family of young student Balach Dilwash, who was enforcedly disappeared by Pakistani forces from the Absar Balochi Bazaar Turbat, held a press conference at the Turbat Press Club. They said that on October 21, 2025, Pakistani forces detained Balach from his home and he has been missing since then.
According to the family, Balach Dilwash is an eighth-grade student currently taking his exams. They stressed that he is a minor and said that if there are any allegations against him, he should be produced before a court so he can exercise his right to legal defense.
The family added that they met with the Deputy Commissioner of Kech and other district officials, who assured them progress would be made within a week. However, a week later no developments have been reported.
They said an FIR has been filed regarding Balach Dilwash’s disappearance, but there has been no result so far.
At the press conference the family announced that if Balach is not recovered within a week, they will be forced to hold sit-ins and protest demonstrations at locations including the CPEC road.
