Karachi: A Baloch student from the University of Karachi’s Philosophy Department, Muslim Dad Baloch, son of Sahib Dad, was reportedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani security forces on Tuesday evening.
According to eyewitnesses, Muslim Dad was detained in front of the university’s main gate around 7 PM by uniformed police and plainclothes personnel. Since then, his whereabouts remain unknown.
Muslim Dad hails from Mashkay, a sub-division of Awaran, Balochistan. His sudden disappearance has added to growing concerns over the increasing number of enforced disappearances of Baloch students in recent weeks.
