BLA Claims Responsibility for Two Attacks in Kalat, Six Security Personnel Killed, Six Injured

Kalat: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for two recent attacks on Pakistani security forces in Kalat, resulting in six fatalities and six injuries among the personnel, according to a statement issued by the group’s spokesperson, Azad Baloch.

In the first incident on July 2, BLA fighters reportedly targeted a security checkpoint in the Shahe Mardan area of Kalat with a sniper attack around 7:00 AM. The spokesperson claimed that one soldier was killed and another injured in the assault.

The second and more intense clash occurred on July 5 around 6:00 PM in the Sheikhri area, where BLA fighters allegedly attacked a military outpost using heavy weaponry. The exchange of fire reportedly lasted for about an hour. According to the BLA, five soldiers were killed and five others wounded during the confrontation.
