The spokesperson for the Baloch Republican Army (BRA), Sarbaz Baloch, issued a statement to the media claiming responsibility for a coordinated attack targeting CTD personnel and their facility in Sui, a tehsil in Dera Bugti district of Balochistan.
According to the BRA, the attack took place in the Tota Colony area of Sui, where BRA fighters launched an assault on the CTD office using rockets, hand grenades, and automatic weapons. Several personnel were reportedly wounded in the initial strike.
The spokesperson further stated that when reinforcements arrived, they were ambushed by BRA fighters who were already positioned in the area. The second wave of the attack, involving heavy weaponry and rocket fire, resulted in the deaths of three CTD personnel and injuries to three others.
The Baloch Republican Army has formally claimed responsibility for the attack, calling it part of their ongoing resistance against Pakistani security forces in Balochistan.
