Shal (Monitoring Desk): The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) has urged all political parties in Baloch society to abandon appeasement and take a firm stand against Pakistani state repression. The central spokesperson of BYC stated that the Baloch nation is facing an unprecedented genocide, with Pakistan crossing all limits of brutality, oppression and violence against the people of Balochistan.
The spokesperson highlighted that every voice rising against this oppression is being targeted, citing the illegal arrests of Dr. Mahrang Baloch, Sammi Deen Baloch, Baibagar Baloch, Beebow Baloch, and several other activists. These detainees are being treated as dangerous criminals rather than political prisoners inside jails.
“This is a decisive moment for all political and other organizations in Baloch society. They must choose whether they stand with the oppressive state or with the oppressed Baloch nation. It is no longer acceptable for any group to condemn state repression in the daylight while secretly collaborating with those responsible for the massacre of our people,” the spokesperson said.
BYC further warned that any political or social group attempting to play on both sides will be exposed as collaborators in the Baloch genocide and enablers of state brutality.
In conclusion, BYC called on all political and social organizations to clarify their stance, stand with the oppressed Baloch people, and actively participate in the resistance against state oppression rather than merely issuing verbal condemnations.
