
Karachi (Monitoring Desk). Faiz Muhammad Zehri, a candidate for Hub District Council Chairman, was abducted by unknown individuals near from the Shah Latif police station in Karachi, some of whom were dressed in police uniforms.
The abductee’s son, Muzammil Zehri, has filed an application at Shah Latif Police Station, stating that his father was taken away by individuals wearing police uniforms. According to him, Faiz Muhammad Zehri is a candidate from the Bhutani Group, while his opponents include candidates from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and other political parties.
Sources reveal that CCTV footage from outside Zehri’s residence has surfaced, showing police vehicles and civilian cars involved in the abduction.
Police officials have stated that an investigation is underway.
