
QUETTA, BALOCHSITAN: Two separate incidents were reported in Balochistan, including Baloch separatist fighters gaining control of parts of Mand in Kech district amid aerial bombing by Pakistani forces and the hijacking of a passenger coach traveling from Karachi to Quetta in Sorab.
According to reports from the Mand area of Kech district, Baloch separatist fighters entered the Baloch Abad and Balo areas of Mand in large numbers and gained control of these locations.
During this, Pakistani forces reportedly carried out bombing in the area using quadcopters; however, no reports of casualties have emerged so far. Baloch separatist armed groups are known to be active in the area, though no organization has yet claimed responsibility for this specific incident.
In a separate incident, unidentified armed men took control of a passenger coach traveling from Karachi to Quetta in Sorab, along with its passengers.
The armed men reportedly moved the coach to an unknown location.
