
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Baloch Liberation Army spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch, in a statement issued to the media, said that this week, the Sarmachars (guerrilla fighters) targeted the occupying Pakistani army and its sponsored “death squads” in numerous organized and lethal attacks across various areas of Balochistan, inflicting heavy losses of life and property.
During these operations, 43 personnel of the occupying army and death squads were killed and several wounded, while the Sarmachars’ strong position under the “economic blockade” on major highways remains intact. Bridges and other military and exploitative installations were also destroyed during the attacks. In intense clashes on various fronts, 10 Sarmachars of the BLA attained martyrdom.
The spokesperson said that on September 7, in Basima, on the CPEC route, Sarmachars maintained a complete blockade for 5 hours and continued the process of snap checking. During this, in intense clashes with the occupying Pakistani army, 5 enemy personnel were killed and several wounded, while 3 BLA Sarmachars Sangat Aziz Ahmed Sumalani alias Jahanzaib, Sangat Abadullah Zehri alias Saqib and Sangat Adnan Sumalani alias Sah Rout, drank the cup of martyrdom.
He said that on September 8, in the Norouz Kalat area of Kharan, on the main highway, Sarmachars ambushed a convoy of the occupying Pakistani army, resulting in at least 4 occupying army personnel being killed or wounded. Meanwhile, in the Paroom area of Panjgur, Sarmachars set fire to a vehicle supplying the occupying Pakistani army, while a second vehicle was taken into custody. Furthermore, in the Chidgi area of Panjgur, at the location of Mashkel Kor, Sarmachars destroyed surveillance cameras installed by the occupying army.
Jeeyand Baloch said that on September 9: In the Chidgi area of Panjgur, on the commercial route, Sarmachars maintained a blockade for more than 2 hours and continued the snap-checking process.
He said that on September 10: On the Quetta-to-Taftan commercial route, in the Chahtar area of Chagai, Sarmachars set up a blockade and took 2 commercial vehicles into custody. In the same Chahtar area, after destroying a bridge in an explosion, Sarmachars attacked the advancing occupying army, inflicting heavy losses. On the same day, in Tump, Sarmachars shot down a spy quadcopter belonging to the occupying army by gunfire.
He said that on September 11: In the Gidar area of Sorab, at the location of “Tobo”, Sarmachars attacked a convoy of the occupying Pakistani army. Two vehicles of the occupying army came under direct attack, one of which was completely disabled, and 6 personnel were killed on the spot. The cowardly enemy was forced to retreat, leaving behind the bodies of its killed personnel. Meanwhile, at the location of Rodeni Cross, the occupying army was targeted in another attack while attempting to advance in the area; in this attack, 3 more occupying army personnel were killed and at least 4 wounded.
The spokesperson said that on September 13: In the Sultan Shahr area of Qila Abdullah, Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) Sarmachars targeted members of the “death squad” in an organized and lethal attack. In this attack, 25 members of the death squad operating under the sponsorship of the occupying army were killed on the spot, while several fled in a wounded condition. The Sarmachars seized their weapons and a vehicle. Subsequently, a large contingent of the occupying army, CTD and death squad attempted to advance into the area, which was targeted by the Sarmachars in another attack. In these intense clashes, which continued for approximately 4 hours, several personnel of the occupying army and death squad were killed and wounded, while 5 valiant BLA Sarmachars Sangat Yasir Mengal alias Shah Yar, Sangat Farooq Parkani alias Asif, Sangat Waqar Ahmed Lehri alias Chakar, Sangat Asim and Sangat Mulla Chakar attained martyrdom fighting bravely.
It further stated that previously, on August 19, in the Phal Abad area of Paroom, Panjgur, intense clashes took place between the occupying Pakistani army and BLA Sarmachars, in which 2 BLA Sarmachars, Sangat Zahir Baloch alias KD and Sangat Allah Dad Baloch alias Sawar, attained martyrdom.
In this same week, the Baloch Liberation Army’s vanguard unit “Fatah Squad” killed 9 occupying army personnel and wounded more than 11 in an organized and lethal attack in Lasbela, while during an intelligence-based operation in Jiwani, 4 members of the occupying Pakistani army and Military Intelligence (MI) were killed. Furthermore, control was seized of the drilling site of a lithium-extraction exploitative project in Mashkel, and its machinery was destroyed. Detailed statements on all these attacks have already been issued.
The spokesperson said that the Baloch Liberation Army pays tremendous tribute and sends red salute to the role and unparalleled sacrifices of all 10 of its great martyrs: Sangat Aziz Ahmed Samalani, Sangat Abadullah Zehri, Sangat Adnan Samalani, Sangat Yasir Mengal, Sangat Farooq Parkani, Sangat Waqar Ahmed Lehri, Sangat Asim, Sangat Mulla Chakar, Sangat Zahir Baloch, and Sangat Allah Dad Baloch. These devoted fighters have written a history of national loyalty by offering their warm blood in defense of their sacred soil, national survival, and the path of freedom.
The BLA reaffirms its resolve that every single drop of blood shed by its martyrs will further ignite the national struggle and that the armed struggle will continue on every front until their objectives are fulfilled. Until the complete withdrawal of the occupying Pakistani army from Baloch land and the establishment of a free and sovereign Balochistan become possible, they will continue to uphold the mission of their martyrs with full strength and ideological resolve.
