QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Baloch Students Organization (BSO) Shal Zone Organizer, Comrade Younas Baloch, was taken from his home in Quetta by security forces at around midnight between July 24 and 25 and transferred to an unknown location.
According to sources, his family has had no contact with him, and his whereabouts remain unknown. Reports that an 8-year-old child from his family has been placed on the Fourth Schedule, which is deeply concerning and raises serious questions regarding the protection of fundamental rights.
It is worth noting that this comes just days after BSO Chairman Jiand Baloch was also forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from his home in Hudda, raising further concern over an intensifying pattern of enforced disappearances targeting BSO leadership.
