One shot dead in Panjgur, two bodies recovered in Turbat

PANJGUR/TURBAT: A man was shot dead by unidentified armed gunmen in Panjgur district on Friday, while two separate bodies were recovered from the Kech district, according to police.

The shooting took place at Saradok in Panjgur, where unidentified armed men opened fire from a vehicle, killing Zubair, a resident of Jhal Magsi. Police said the attackers also snatched the victim’s motorcycle and mobile phone before fleeing. The body was transferred to the teaching hospital for further proceedings.

According to a local source, a body bearing gunshot wounds was recovered from the Dabak area near Nokhen Kalatuk in Kech. The deceased was later identified as Hammad, son of Master Nazeer, a native of Nodez who had recently been residing in Kalatuk. The body was not immediately identified at the scene; however, family members and local residents later confirmed his identity.

A second body was recovered from the Gorukop area of Kech. Further details on the second victim were not available at the time of reporting.

Authorities have taken the bodies into custody and initiated investigations. The motive behind the killings and the identity of those responsible remain unknown. Residents have expressed deep concern over the incidents and called on authorities to conduct transparent investigations and bring those responsible to justice.
