QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has released video footage purportedly showing two separate operations carried out in district Washuk and Kharan, the group’s official media outlet Ashob confirmed.
The two-minute and fourteen-second video, released by BLF’s media wing, reportedly shows fighters arriving at the Naag Grari area of Basima in Washuk, where, a state-backed militia had set up an informal checkpoint on the highway and was stopping vehicles, harassing residents, and extorting money.

In the video, fighters approached the location in two white vehicles before opening fire on the individuals manning the checkpoint. The group claimed two operatives were killed in the attack, with the footage later showing the bodies alongside seized weapons, a motorcycle, and other items.

The same video also purportedly shows a separate attack carried out on May 3, 2026, in which BLF fighters targeted a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpoint on Gazi Road in Kharan city using rockets and grenade launchers. The group claimed the strike caused casualties and material damage to the security forces.
