QUETTA: The protest camp organized by Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) against enforced disappearances continued for the 6140th consecutive day outside the Quetta Press Club.
Today’s protest was attended by the families of forcibly disappeared Dost Muhammad Kurd, Badal Khan Kurd and Huzoor Bakhsh Kurd. According to the families, Dost Muhammad Kurd son of Huzoor Bakhsh was taken into custody and forcibly disappeared from Kali Khali, Quetta on April 13, while Huzoor Bakhsh Kurd son of Noor Muhammad and Badal Khan Kurd son of Rasool Bakhsh were similarly taken from Maro Garh, Mastung, Balochistan
The families stated that they have neither received any information about their loved ones nor have the individuals been produced in any court, causing severe mental distress and anguish among the families.
On this occasion, VBMP Chairman Nasrullah Baloch assured the families that the organization will continue to raise the cases of Dost Muhammad, Badal Khan and Huzoor Bakhsh at the highest levels and in every forum, demanding their safe recovery.
He called on the government to immediately recover the three individuals and, if there are any charges against them, to present them in court according to the law so that the affected families may receive justice.
