QUETTA: Tragedy struck in Quetta’s Hazarganji area where unknown gunmen opened fire on vegetable vendors, killing four people and injuring several others.
According to police, security forces and emergency responders rushed to the scene as soon as they were alerted.
The victims were quickly taken to Quetta’s Civil Hospital, where the injured are currently receiving treatment. Authorities have started investigating the incident.
Early reports confirm that all those affected belong to the Hazara community.
Following the shooting, members of the community staged a protest on the Western Bypass in Quetta, blocking traffic in response to the violence.
