Balochistan: Several security-related incidents were reported across different districts of Balochistan, including a reported drone attack on Pakistani forces in Mastung, a grenade attack on police in Quetta, and a fatal shooting in Kech.
According to sources, unknown armed men carried out a drone attack targeting a Pakistani forces checkpoint in the Isplinji area of Mastung. The incident reportedly took place in the Maro Kand area.
In a separate incident in Quetta, unknown assailants reportedly hurled a hand grenade at police in the Gwalmandi area. One police personnel was injured in the attack and was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment.
Meanwhile, in Kech, unknown armed men opened fire and killed a man identified as Chakar Barkat. His body was moved to a hospital for further investigation. The motive behind the killing remains unknown.
No group has claimed responsibility for any of the incidents.
