Mastung: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has released video footage of “Operation Kardigap,” carried out in Mastung.
The footage shows a blockade and control of the Quetta–Taftan highway at Kardigap on April 6. The BLF said that several personnel, including members of the Special Services Group (SSG), were killed during the operation.
The video was released through Aashob Media, described as the media outlet of the BLF.
In the footage, armed individuals can reportedly be seen attacking a vehicle that the group claims belonged to Pakistani forces, including SSG commandos. The video also appears to show the armed men stopping and checking various passenger vehicles along the highway.
According to the BLF, during the blockade, Pakistani Army SSG commandos and other military personnel, dressed in plain clothes, attempted to pass through the area in three civilian vehicles. The group claims that its fighters targeted the vehicles, striking one of them. It said that five personnel on board including SSG commando Binyamin, Naik Farzand Ali, Sepoy Babar Ali, and Sepoy Abu Bakar were killed on the spot, and the vehicle was completely destroyed, while the other two vehicles managed to leave the area.
