Khairpur: A railway track was destroyed in a bomb explosion by unidentified individuals in Khairpur, causing a freight train to derail and resulting in significant damage to the railway infrastructure.
According to railway officials, the explosion occurred while the freight train was passing through the affected area. The powerful blast damaged a section of the track, causing several wagons of the freight train to derail.
However, according to initial reports, no casualties have been reported in the incident.
Officials said the explosion caused considerable damage to the railway track, disrupting train operations on the route. Due to the situation, the Rehman Baba Express was stopped at Gambat Railway Station.
Railway authorities and security agencies have launched an investigation into the incident, while repair work on the damaged track has also begun.
