Quetta: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a grenade attack on a police station in Dera Murad Jamali.
In a statement issued to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch said that on the morning of October 31, at around 8:30 a.m., BLF fighters targeted the main gate of the police lines near Ghafoor Pump with a hand grenade, causing significant damage to government property.
He said the attack was carried out as a warning to police personnel stationed at various police stations in Dera Murad Jamali, urging them to end their oppressive behavior and to refrain from mistreating local Baloch civilians. “If the police do not change their attitude toward the public,” he warned, “strict action will be taken against them.”
The spokesperson concluded by reaffirming that the Balochistan Liberation Front takes full responsibility for the grenade attack on the Dera Murad Jamali police station.
