In Balochistan’s Kalat region, armed men targeted Pakistani forces in two separate attacks.
In the Shekhri and Morgand areas of Kalat, a camp of Pakistani forces was attacked. The assault lasted for some time and local residents reported hearing intense gunfire and explosions, with smoke rising from the camp.
Meanwhile, in the Shah Mardan area of Kalat, unidentified armed men also attacked Pakistani forces, with reports suggesting casualties among the troops.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks, though Baloch separatist fighters are known to be active in the area.
