Mand: Protest Rally Announced for Recovery of Enforcedly Disappeared Youths

Kech: Families of forcibly disappeared youths in Mand Balochabad, Balochistan, have announced a protest rally against the abductions by Pakistani forces. The rally is scheduled to be held tomorrow at 11 a.m.

According to sources, on October 23, Pakistani military personnel conducted raids on several homes in different areas of Mand, during which three young men Haroon son of Muhammad Jan, Hamood son of Muhammad Jan, and Fahad son of Usman were detained and subsequently disappeared. After being taken into custody, the youths were reportedly shifted to an undisclosed location and their families have not been provided with any information or legal documents regarding their detention.

Family members stated that the protest rally against the enforced disappearances will be held on October 26, starting from Balochabad and continuing to Soru Bar, where it will turn into a sit-in demonstration.

The relatives have appealed to the people of Mand and surrounding areas to participate in large numbers and raise their voices against enforced disappearances.
