Panjgur: Two young men from Paroom, Panjgur, were found dead after being abducted by a state-backed death squad.
According to Zrumbesh reporter, The first victim, identified as Zahoor Baloch, son of Arz Mohammad, was taken from his home in Paroom last night by a local death squad. His body was discovered earlier today.
Another youth, identified as Paqir Jan, son of Ghulam Jan and a resident of Paroom Diz, was also abducted from his home by the same group. His body was recovered today from Paroom Goash.
Both incidents follow a pattern of recent enforced disappearances and killings in the Panjgur region. Around twenty days ago, Zahoor’s brother, Nazar, son of Arz Mohammad, was also forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces from his home. His body was recovered a day later from Buleda along with two other young men — Naik Saal, son of Dilwash, and Abdul Qudos, son of Hameedullah.
It is noteworthy that the same armed group is involved in abductions, robberies, killings, and other criminal activities in the region. The group operates with impunity and under the protection of Pakistani forces.
