Quetta: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for a string of attacks across several districts of Balochistan, saying its fighters carried out eight separate operations in Surab, Kalat, Noshki, Zehri and Kharan.
In a statement issued by the group’s spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, the BLA said its members executed three men accused of working as informants for Pakistani security forces. The individuals were identified as Gulam Hussain Jatak from Zehri, Daulat Khan from Kholu and Ishaq Nechari from Manguchar.
According to the group, they had facilitated military raids, enforced disappearances and provided intelligence to the Pakistani authorities.
The BLA also claimed responsibility for multiple attacks, including the destruction of surveillance cameras in Noshki, targeting of a minerals-transporting truck in Kalat and damaging of a Pakistani military convoy in the same district.
The statement further claimed that fighters set up temporary road blockades in Surab and other areas, where they detained officials, seized weapons and captured vehicles before retreating.
The group warned that such operations against Pakistani forces and their collaborators would continue.
