In Kharan city, five consecutive powerful explosions were heard as armed individuals targeted the main camp of the Pakistani army.
According to sources, unidentified armed men attacked the central camp of the Pakistani Frontier Corps (FC) located in the middle of Kharan city. The attack began with five successive blasts, followed by heavy gunfire.
The forces reportedly suffered both human and material losses in the attack. Following the incident, Pakistani forces set up checkpoints and carried out extensive inspections.
There has been an increase in attacks on Pakistani forces in Balochistan, for which Baloch separatist groups have previously claimed responsibility. However, no group has claimed responsibility for this particular attack so far.
