
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks in Kalat and Khuzdar that killed 11 Pakistani soldiers.
In a statement to the media, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that the group’s fighters carried out five separate operations against Pakistani forces.
According to the statement, on Sunday, BLA fighters struck a military truck with a remote-controlled bomb in Shekhri, Kalat, killing four soldiers on the spot and wounding three others. The vehicle was completely destroyed in the attack.
He furhter said that, On the same day, BLA fighters ambushed Pakistani troops on foot in Morgand, Kalat, killing two soldiers. In another operation in Morgand, a sniper attack killed one more soldier stationed at a military post.
The spokesperson stated that on Friday, September 5, BLA fighters detonated a remote-controlled IED against foot soldiers in Morgand, killing two and injuring another two.
Additionally, in Zehri, Anjeera, Khuzdar, BLA fighters targeted a bomb disposal team with a remote-controlled IED, killing two personnel.
The BLA said it takes full responsibility for these operations, stressing that its armed struggle is against the Pakistani military and its “expansionist projects.” It declared that enemy convoys, installations and support structures remain legitimate targets for its fighters and resistance actions will continue until Pakistan withdraws its “illegal presence” from Balochistan.
