Awaran: Armed Men Attack Construction Company Camp, Over a Dozen Machines Set Ablaze

Armed assailants attacked a construction company’s camp in Jhao, Awaran district of Balochistan, torching heavy machinery.

According to sources, the incident occurred around 11 p.m. last night, when a large group of armed men stormed the camp of a company working on the Awaran-to-Bela main highway at Lak Machhi Charaai. The attackers set fire to more than a dozen pieces of heavy machinery, causing losses worth millions of rupees.

No casualties were reported in the incident.

So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, though in the past, similar incidents have often been claimed by Baloch separatist groups.
