
Pakistani security forces came under attack in Balochistan’s Washuk, resulting in reported casualties and material losses.
According to sources, armed assailants targeted personnel along the CPEC road in Patak, Washuk, while they were delivering supplies to a military convoy. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. and continued for some time, with heavy gunfire echoing across the area.
Military helicopters later arrived at the scene, airlifting the bodies of the dead and the wounded. Multiple fatalities have been reported, though officials have yet to issue a formal statement.
In Balochistan, such attacks frequently target security forces, often claimed by Baloch armed groups. However, no organization has so far claimed responsibility for this particular assault.
