Zehri: Passenger Van Abducted on Return from Hub, Bazaar Closed in Protest

A passenger van traveling from Zehri to Hub Chowki was abducted by unidentified armed men in the Wadh area while returning from Hub. The van, along with its passengers and driver, was taken away.

According to sources, the women traveling in the van were offloaded on the spot, while the remaining passengers, the driver and the conductor were taken along with the vehicle to an unknown location.

In protest against the incident, the Zehri bazaar was shut down, while transporters began preparations to block the National Highway.

Residents of Zehri and nearby areas have expressed serious concern over the incident and demanded immediate action.
