Kech: Pakistani Forces’ Checkpoint Attacked, 10-Year-Old Killed in Mortar Shelling

According to a Zrumbesh reporter, Baloch fighters attacked a Pakistani forces’ checkpoint in the Gomaazi area of Tump, which had been set up at the house of martyred Captain Jahangir. During the attack, forces allegedly fired heavy mortar shells indiscriminately into civilian areas. Several mortar rounds struck local homes, killing a 10-year-old boy, Mehmood, son of Abdul Ghafoor, a resident of Gomaazi.

The reporter further said that during the exchange of fire, the fighters also shot down a quadcopter of Pakistani Forces.

It is also reported that within the past 24 hours, security forces have come under multiple heavy attacks in the region, prompting the imposition of a curfew across the entire area.
