The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has released video footage through its media wing “Ashob,” showcasing multiple militant operations carried out under “Operation Baam.”
The footage shows BLF fighters conducting military training, strategic planning and attacks on Pakistani security forces in rugged and mountainous areas of Balochistan. Fighters can be seen equipped with modern and heavy weaponry, executing coordinated operations including road blockades, snap checks and assaults on military posts, camps and convoys.
According to BLF, these attacks took place across 25 different regions and included a total of 84 operations. The group claims to have taken control of several police and Levies checkpoints, seizing weapons, vehicles and causing significant damage to state infrastructure.
BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch stated that 59 personnel of Pakistani forces were killed and over 51 wounded during these attacks. He added that these operations are part of BLF’s long-term strategy to challenge state control, resist military occupation, and raise political awareness among the Baloch population.
The operations were carried out in various regions including Makuran, Rakhshan, Kolwah, Sarawan, Jhalawan, Koh-e-Sulaiman, Bela and Kachhi. BLF emphasized that this campaign represents a shift in its tactical and ideological approach, marking a more organized phase of the armed resistance.
Baloch nationalist circles have praised “Operation Baam” as a coordinated, organized, and strategic advancement in the resistance movement. According to them, these actions are not merely traditional guerrilla attacks but represent a synchronized and dynamic military strategy that gives the Baloch resistance a new dimension and ideological clarity.
