The spokesperson of Baloch Raji Ajoi Sangar (BRAS), Baloch Khan, issued a statement to the media claiming responsibility for attacks targeting the occupying Pakistani military and its supply vehicles in Zamuran.
According to the spokesperson, on the night of July 28, BRAS fighters set up a checkpoint near Nano on the main road in Zamuran, where they intercepted and set fire to vehicles transporting supplies to Pakistani forces. The vehicles were destroyed by BRAS fighters, while the drivers were released after being warned.
He added that BRAS fighters had strategically positioned themselves and, the following day, targeted a convoy of Pakistani military personnel on motorcycles and in vehicles using a remote-controlled IED. The fighters then launched a follow-up ambush, using automatic and heavy weapons. As a result, five Pakistani soldiers were killed and several others injured.
The spokesperson noted that some local individuals are involved in providing rations and logistical support to the occupying Pakistani forces. This, he said, amounts to direct collaboration with the enemy. BRAS issued a stern warning to all such individuals to immediately cease these activities.
The statement further warned that if support to Pakistani forces continues, future attacks will be more severe, and those involved will bear full responsibility for the consequences.
