Baloch Women Forum Meets Fishermen’s Union, Extends Invitation to Upcoming Conference

Gwadar: As part of its ongoing campaign, the Baloch Women Forum has intensified its outreach efforts by engaging with diverse segments of Gwadar’s population to raise awareness about alleged state repression in Balochistan and to better understand the concerns of local communities.

In a recent development under this initiative, representatives of the Forum held a meeting with members of the Fishermen’s Union. During the meeting, the Baloch Women Forum(BWF) listened to the grievances faced by the fishing community and discussed issues affecting their livelihoods.

BWF representatives also extended an invitation to the Union to participate in an upcoming one-day conference scheduled to be held in Gwadar. The event aims to bring together voices from across the region to highlight local challenges and promote dialogue on pressing socio-political matters.

The campaign reflects a broader effort by the Baloch Women Forum to amplify grassroots concerns and encourage civic engagement across Balochistan.
