BLA Claims Responsibility for Attacks on Pakistani Military and Resource-Transporting Vehicles

Quetta: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for recent attacks targeting Pakistani military forces and vehicles involved in the extraction and transportation of natural resources.

In a statement issued to the media, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said that the organization’s fighters carried out two separate operations in Kalat and Mastung, striking a main military camp and vehicles transporting minerals.

According to the spokesperson, BLA fighters targeted the main camp of the Pakistani military in Kalat last night as a convoy arrived at the location. The attackers reportedly fired multiple rounds using grenade launchers, resulting in casualties and material losses for the military.

The statement further detailed that on the previous day, BLA fighters struck nine vehicles in three different locations in Mastung, accusing them of participating in the “plunder of Baloch national resources.” One vehicle was attacked in the Zilli area, two near Koh Noor Hotel, and six near Nawab Hotel.

The BLA claimed that drivers were warned and then released unharmed. The group has issued a stern warning to all drivers and vehicle owners involved in what they describe as resource exploitation, urging them to cease such activities or be prepared to bear the consequences.
