The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a targeted operation in Kharan city, where its fighters dismantled and seized surveillance cameras reportedly installed by Pakistani forces for intelligence and monitoring purposes.
In a statement issued to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch stated that the operation took place on the evening of June 15 around 7 PM. During the operation, BLF fighters removed surveillance cameras from key locations, including Shahwani Chowk, the vegetable market, Qila Chowk, and the shopping bazaar.
According to the statement, the BLF views these cameras as tools used by the occupying forces to monitor the movement, personal lives, and collective activities of the Baloch people. Major Gwahram Baloch said the surveillance setup is part of Pakistan’s colonial policies in Balochistan, aimed at suppressing the Baloch national struggle and extending military control over the region.
The BLF reiterated its commitment to continue resisting what it calls colonial aggression and surveillance until Balochistan attains freedom.
