Kech, Balochistan: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks targeting Pakistani military installations, death squad members, and gas transport vehicles across multiple regions of Balochistan, resulting in the killing of 15 enemy personnel and injuring 7 others.
According to a detailed statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the operations began late on the night of June 7 and continued through June 9, targeting at least 14 locations across Kech, Noshki, and Gwadar.
On the night of June 7 at 12:10 AM, BLF fighters (Sarmachar) launched rocket attacks on a Pakistani military post in the Nasirabad area of Kech, reportedly causing significant casualties and damage. Just two hours earlier, a military camp in the Soro area of Mand was also attacked with heavy weaponry. Despite efforts by Pakistani forces to trace the attackers through surveillance, BLF claims its fighters retreated safely.
That same night, BLF units reportedly set up checkpoints on the Rek Bazar–Koh Dagar highway to monitor Pakistani troop movement, while the military remained confined to their camps.
In a targeted action on June 7 at 7:30 AM, BLF fighters (Sarmachar) captured and executed Abdullah, son of Saeed, a known member of a local State Backed death squad in Buleda. The group accused him of collaborating with Pakistani forces and being complicit in the killings of two BLF members.
On June 8, a series of attacks were launched across Tump, including rocket and grenade attacks on military posts in the Kalaho, Asiababad, and Heerabad areas. Surveillance cameras were reportedly destroyed in the Heerabad attack. Additional assaults were carried out in Gomazi and Pulabad later the same day, allegedly resulting in injuries and further material losses.
On June 8 at dawn, a military checkpoint in Kotan, Zamuran, was attacked, with the BLF claiming human and material losses were inflicted. In another incident, a BLF unit stopped traffic on the CPEC route at Dasht Berri and attacked a Levies check post. However, the attackers refrained from harming personnel, citing their Baloch ethnicity and lack of combat equipment.
The wave of attacks continued into June 9, with a reported strike on a checkpoint in Narmuk, Zamuran, and an act of sabotage in Kohsar Bazar, Gwadar, where fighters set fire to surveillance tower equipment. That same day, two gas transport vehicles were damaged in Noshki city.
The BLF has vowed to continue its armed campaign until the liberation of Balochistan.
