Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has released a short video footage of Assistant Commissioner of Tump, Hanif Noorzai, in which he can be heard saying, “I am in the custody of Baloch Sarmachars.”
The video clearly shows Noorzai being held at an undisclosed location by members of the BLF.
It is worth noting that BLF fighters had recently detained him during an operation and moved him to an unknown location.
According to a previous statement by the BLF, the organization’s fighters carried out an operation on June 4, 2025, based on intelligence from their secret wing. During the operation, Assistant Commissioner Mohammad Hanif Noorzai was taken into custody along with his family members, government security guards, and driver from the Sarenkan area.
The group stated that Noorzai has been handed over to the BLF’s investigative team for further questioning. A formal announcement regarding the outcome will be made once the investigation is complete.
