Quetta: Baloch Woman Student Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces

Quetta, Balochistan – A Baloch woman student has reportedly been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces and intelligence agencies from the provincial capital, Quetta (Shal).

According to sources, the incident occurred last night when personnel from the Frontier Corps and intelligence agencies detained a woman from the Civil Hospital Quetta. Following her arrest, she was transferred to an undisclosed location, and her whereabouts remain unknown.

The woman has been identified as Mahjabeen daughter of Ghulam Mustafa, a resident of Besma in Washuk. She is a student of BS Library Science at Balochistan University.

Reports suggest that Mahjabeen was taken into custody without any formal charges, and no information has been provided to her family or the public since her disappearance. The incident has sparked concern among human rights organizations and student groups.

No official statement has been released by the authorities so far. This case adds to the ongoing trend of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, which has long faced allegations of human rights violations.
