Two separate incidents targeting Pakistani security forces occurred in Balochistan on Sunday, highlighting the continued unrest in the region.
In the Zamuran area of Kech district, unknown armed individuals set fire to two vehicles reportedly transporting rations to a military outpost in Archin Kaur. According to local sources, the vehicles were en route to a military checkpoint when they were intercepted and torched. While no casualties were reported, both vehicles were completely destroyed in the incident.
In a separate incident in Quetta (Shal), unidentified assailants hurled a hand grenade at a checkpoint manned by Pakistani forces in the Dasht Darakshan area. Sources report that the attack resulted in both human and material losses, though specific details remain unclear. As with the Kech incident, no group has claimed responsibility yet. However, similar past attacks have often been claimed by Baloch pro-independence organizations.
