Voice for Baloch Missing Persons Meeting: Protest Camp to be Led by Niaz Muhammad Nechari Until Mama Qadeer’s Full Recovery

A meeting of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) was held under the chairmanship of Nasrullah, where it was decided that until the full recovery of Mama Qadeer Baloch, the ongoing protest camp against enforced disappearances in Balochistan will be led by Niaz Muhammad Nechari, a member of the executive committee, starting tomorrow.

The meeting expressed deep concern over the continued failure to recover missing persons, the cases of enforced disappearances, and the extrajudicial killings of Baloch activists. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to continue its peaceful and constitutional struggle against enforced disappearances and human rights violations to the best of its ability.

The meeting also condemned the detention of peaceful activists, including Dr. Mahrang Baloch, head of the Baloch Yakjehti Committee, under the MPO (Maintenance of Public Order) ordinance, which deprived them of their constitutional right to defense. The VBMP demanded the immediate and unconditional release of Dr. Mahrang Baloch and other peaceful activists.
